As you can see my name is Lorna Rae but most people call me Lorna, among a mix of nicknames.

 

I grew up in Durban, South Africa but have been lucky to have travelled quite a bit in my short lifetime and with me always, my trusty companion, my camera.

My love for cameras and photography grew into a passion which lead me to study film production in Cape Town at the University of Cape Town.

 

I worked for a while in the industry before moving to live at a beautiful bush lodge in Hluhluwe (named Thornwood, check it out, it’s great) for a few months. I began freelancing in the film industry in 2014 and have never looked back.

Now, I travel the world taking photographs, exploring and filming whenever I can while balancing a few other jobs because I’m a workaholic..

My clients range throughout different industries but mostly I love experimenting and discovering new techniques and creating my own personal artistic projects.
